2023 Young Authors’ Conference


The Hague International would like to invite young professionals and students with a strong interest in law academia and research to participate in the annual Young Authors’ Conference held in hybrid format in The Hague, the Netherlands in 2023

Announcement: The Conference will be postponed in Autumn 2023. Please keep an eye on our social media accounts for the new conference dates. The deadline for submissions on the 28th of February 2023 remains as a first round deadline, however, submissions after that will be accepted, but priority will be given to the first round.


Dear students, authors and researchers,


In this age of globalisation and rapid technological advancement, we would like to welcome you to our conference on technology’s impact on society from a legal and regulatory perspective. Having in mind all the recent developments in technology, we would like to invite law students, professionals and academics to gather in the city of The Hague and discuss potential developments and challenges in the field of Law and Technology. 

The theme of the Conference:
LAW AND TECHNOLOGY: THE NEW CHALLENGES

The Young Authors’ Conference will be held in The Hague, the Netherlands in 2023 through a hybrid format. The purpose of this conference is to provide young and aspiring authors/researchers with an opportunity to present their latest research and findings in front of a panel of professionals and academics specialised in law as well as an open audience.

The theme is set in a broad format so as to allow them to touch upon it from every perspective including commercial, regulatory, tax, data protection, compliance, human rights etc. As such, presenters are allowed to present an array of trends or challenges as long as they fall within the scope of the theme. The discussion is open to perspectives from all around the world, and presenters are encouraged to present their national and regional approaches.


We welcome abstracts, published or non-published papers, and research proposals, as of the 12th of January 2023. The first deadline for submission is on the 28th of February 2023.
